If you are requesting a custom garment or clothing for a special occasion, please provide a detailed description of what you would like created. You may also submit inspiration or reference photographs showing similar styles, colors, fabrics, silhouettes, embellishments, or design elements you would like us to consider.
Please include your current measurements with your request. These measurements will help us evaluate the project, determine the amount and type of work involved, and prepare your quote.
Reference photographs are used for inspiration and to help communicate your preferences. The final garment may vary based on available materials, measurements, construction requirements, and the agreed-upon design.

Customers are encouraged to provide their own measurements when requesting custom garments or services requiring sizing. We will provide instructions explaining how to take your measurements at home so you can submit the information with your quote request.
Customers who prefer professional assistance may request a one-on-one measurement appointment.
In-person measurements are available by appointment only and may be conducted at an agreed-upon location within the Los Angeles area.
In Person Fee
A $50 Custom Sizing Fee applies to appointments where La Costurera travels to perform individual measurements. 50% of the fee must be paid upfront and the reamaining fee will be collected at the time of the appointment.
How To Avoid The Fee
To avoid the $50 sizing fee, customers are encouraged to use our at-home measurement instructions and submit their measurements electronically.
After You Receive Your Quote

Once your request has been reviewed, La Costurera will provide a quote outlining the proposed services and estimated cost of your project.
If you choose to proceed, a 15% down payment is required upon acceptance of the quote to begin the order process and secure your project with La Costurera. The remaining balance and applicable payment schedule will be provided with your quote or service agreement.
For custom garments and special-occasion projects, additional fittings, material selections, design approvals, or other project details may be required before the garment is completed.
Submitting a quote request does not obligate you to proceed with the service. Work begins only after the quote has been accepted and the required 15% down payment has been received.
